We usually think that in all cases action speaks louder than words, but if we make a little observation in our daily life. The vice-verse happens, words speak louder than actions. For example, if someone like your friend slaps you. You might take it personally and slaps him back. Moreover there can be a little bit fight between you and him or you and he can face problems with each other but after some days, you or he can make peace and the matter can be solved. If someone abuses you or vice-verse it will become a big issue. Both of you will take this very personally (depends upon nature) and a big fight may occur between you and him. Another thing may happen is that you both may face problems for many days on this abuse based issue. It may become more difficult for both of you to make peace.

Today a new type of quotation is used to deal with such matters i.e. ‘every action has an equal and opposite reaction’. I am not talking about laws of newton, I am talking about laws of fight. If someone beats you, abuses you, say something which you can’t tolerate. Your reaction will be to beat him back or abuse him back. This action-reaction process gives rise to fight. In any fight we use two weapons muscle power and word power. In which of these weapons is more powerful in its effect. Usually a fight is started by using word powers like ‘idiot’ and when the exchange of these words increases it leads to muscle-power fight. In these cases word power is dominant.

It is not so in only fights during play. According to some of my school experience I have observed that if you publicly say something to a teacher especially egoistic teachers. He or she make it a big issue and try to suppress you in marks, in lectures and various other means. Facing your boss at your office, facing your coach of sports academy and facing your senior highly depends that which words you are using to him or her.

Words are the things which are most likely considered by many people of different fields but it is not necessary that words are more powerful in all fields. The politics is a field where words are not much considered by the people. The people want action towards their demands. Even in office the work done by an employee defines his salary. So we can’t say words are more powerful than actions but words are gaining strength century by century.     

Present Serials of Indian Television

The first serials in India started in the 80’s. The main objective of the regular serials was to show the reality of our regular life. They succeeded in their objective and many people started watching the serials like Hum Log and Buniyaad with full excitement. According to my parents there was a situation that the streets became empty when these serials started. Today the subject of serials is changed in various ways.

Today the serials which we see on television have lost their concept i.e. about the reality of regular life. I can’t say that it has totally lost its concept but some of the unrealistic events like giving life to a dead person in a serial or making impossible coincidences and misunderstandings. Other things for example that in a serial someone got to know that he is not a son of his father but he is a son of his uncle. Someone is dead but later on he becomes alive and tells that how he got survived. Someone loves a particular girl but by mistake or misunderstanding he marries some other girl. The serial makers use these uncertain events and continue the story for months and years. This makes serials uninteresting and unrealistic.

These serials made an uncomfortable noise like ‘dhumtananananananananananananana’. It is so disturbing that men can’t do their work or relax at home. Other problem is that the serial makers don't finish the serials within 100 episodes but they continue the story for years and years. It develops a curiosity in women that what will happen next  and also leads to serial obsession in them. These unrealistic serials may lead to disturbed environment at home.

Most of the serials are watched by women, this leads to two disadvantages. First due to continuous distraction caused by watching serials makes them unaware of their studies which affect their future. As the number of serials watched by women is so many that other people sometimes become unable to watch the channels based on knowledge. Various people are getting disturbed by these serials and their noises.

Serials do show some realistic events like problems faced by females but it is shown with so much noises and unrealistic events that it makes the serial unrealistic and it doesn’t show the reality of life. Serials should be made only to show the real life and there should be no disturbing noises.

First Conversation with foreigners

                                                    

The month before Diwali my mother planned that I, mom and my sis will go to visit my uncle’s home who lives in Chandigarh. Mom told me that we will leave after Diwali. We were going to travel by a train Kalka Shatabdi Express. We were travelling to Chandigarh by that train since two years. I was much aware of its facilities. On 4^th November 2013 around 5 at morning we left home and went to New Delhi Railway Station.

When we reached there the train was already arrived. We got in the train and started finding our seats we got the middle seat of the train. It was my favourite seat in Shatabdi Express. My plan was to sit there and listening to my music in my phone. When I was putting out my phone suddenly I heard someone saying ‘Excuse me’ in English accent. When I turned around I saw a foreign couple standing in front of me. I stood up and gave them some room so that they could sit on their seats.

When they put their bags and sat on the seats they joined their hands and thanked me for giving them some room. When I sat down the lady of the foreign couple asked me that in which direction the train will move. I was not sure because every time we went to that train the direction always changed. I said ‘I don’t know’ after that the foreign man of the couple told me ‘she’s always in superstition, thinking that going forward is safe and going backward is not safe’. It was my very first conversation with foreigners, I was a little nervous because I was not only talking to strangers but I was talking to foreigners. I decided that I will make a normal behaviour in front of them.

When the train was ready to depart I saw four people coming and sitting on our front seats. They were having a conversation with each other but I couldn’t understand there language. I thought that they were speaking Tamil but later after I heard a word छे from them repeatedly. I understood that they were speaking Gujarati language. They were laughing during their conversation but still I couldn’t understand their language then suddenly mom asked to put out the towel from the bag. When I was putting out the bag I saw the Guajarati were looking at me with a big smile. They said something to each other and started laughing out loud. I thought that they were making fun of me and I sat down.

I started observing the Guajarati people very carefully then I felt by their gestures that they were making fun of the foreigners. The foreigners suddenly observed them and Guajarati people made a pleasant smile. Then both people started their conversation in English. The People talked about their destinations, ages, carriers and then the Gujarati people asked their names. The foreigners told them that they were from Switzerland and are going to visit Shimla. I also made my involvement in the conversation and asked them ‘what are nice places for tourism in Switzerland. ‘Do you want to go there’ they asked. I nodded and they said that there are many hill stations in Switzerland. They also added that that Switzerland is a very small country having the population of less than that of Uttarakhand.

The Gujarati people did a lot of conversation with the foreigners. I was only listening to them and finding a way to involve in the conversation. I failed to make involvement in the conversation and decided that I should go to washroom. When I came back I saw that one of the Gujarati persons has taken my seat and were having a nice conversation with foreigners. I sat on the other chair and then I kept listening to their conversation until I asked them ‘can I take your picture’, they agreed and said ‘In Bollywood Style’ and I took a picture of them. After them I didn’t made any type of conversation with them. I observed that the train has arrived to the destination and I, mom and Juhi put our suitcase and got off the train. I had a very great experience with the first acquaintance with a foreign people. The only regret is that I became nervous with no reason and I didn’t say goodbye to those people. This experience was great. 

Hindi as syllabus

                                    

Hindi is widely used language of India, we have developed a nice approach towards Hindi but in schools it is not good so. We know that industrialization has made English a global language so on many parts of India the pure Hindi (शुद्ध हिंदी) is not used so far. The use of pure Hindi as syllabus has created a huge difficulty on various students.

Today in schools Hindi is taught for the student’s good approach towards Hindi but using Hindi as a syllabus has made horrible conditions. According to students the pure Hindi taught by teachers give a huge syllabus of Hindi and teachers don’t give marks on normal Hindi. This is resulting in causing a hatred for Hindi among various students.

The pure Hindi writings and poetries by our ancient writers and poets should be taught in schools but should not be applied in syllabus. The moral values, learnings should be given to students as syllabus but not the pure Hindi.

Hindi is our regular language and should be taught in schools but the pure Hindi taught to the students should be in limited form and good form. The pure Hindi should be taught to those students who are really interested in learning pure Hindi. This will reduce pressure among students and dominance of Hindi will continue.

Is it good going school regularly?

                                           

We have often heard from our parents that we should go to school regularly but many times we avoid going to school because we feel sleepy or we don’t want to wake up so early for going to school. There are many other reasons and excuses for avoiding going school but this is also true that there is a logical reason for students which makes them avoid going to school.

Most of students who don’t prefer going to school, are usually in secondary classes. There are other logical reasons other than sleepiness of students to avoid going  to school. Some students believe that by self-studying they can study much better and they don’t need to go to school. Some others believe that the way of the teaching of the teachers is not well. Some other students bunk school in the days of useless activities or when a cultural function is going to be held in the school. These reasons can be true and cannot be true depending on how a student is interested in studies.

There is another reason that makes a student avoid going to school which is huge homework given to them. Today teachers give huge amount of homework as per the board syllabus. These assignments are so complicated and time consuming that a student sometimes unable to complete it and bunk school. 

In my opinion a student should not attend school if he feels that a teacher is unable to teach students in the right way. If he feel that he can cover his syllabus at home comfortably he should not go to school. At the same time he should make sure that there mustn’t be an over doing that . If over bunking is done a student will be unaware of the important lectures done in the class. It can also affects the results of students.

Bunking school is good but over bunking is not good. Students should concentrate in their studies and expects to  get better outcomes in exams and from schools.    

Flattery (chamchagiri) a shortcut to success

We see various kinds of egoistic people in our schools, colleges and offices who are usually our seniors. These people have the power to give some advantage to their juniors. Many people believe that hard work is the way to impress their seniors. Some people, however, believe that flattery is the best way to impress their seniors.

Flattery means starting appreciating a person without any reason and make him happy. Employees use this method in various events, for example: - giving birthday party to boss at office and appreciating boss on his usual or unusual issues . This method is followed not only in offices but also in schools. Students start flattering their teachers in hope that they will increase his or her marks. By using flattery many people get profit from it without doing any hard work.  

Flattery is also done between best friends. That kind of flattery is not done in greed but it is done to maintain their relationship as friends. In school I have always seen that when relationship between two friends get spoiled by some reasons, one of the friends try to maintain their relationship by apologizing or giving excuse that he was just joking.

Flattery should be done in limits. Excess flattery of a person can lead to loss rather than profit and can even spoil a relationship. Flattering can be done whether to get profit or in maintaining a relationship but the main thing that we should remember that greed is a curse and the appetite for getting more advantage can lead to loss rather than profit.

Difference between a good teacher and bad teacher

                                                

When we talk about teachers,  we usually think of his or her attitude towards student. We see the way of teaching, the teacher’s power to make students understand about a particular topic and the will power of teacher to clear doubts  of students. From the point of view of students these abilities make a teacher a good teacher otherwise a bad teacher.

A good teacher should have the will power to clear doubts of students on their topic. Those teachers who don’t take any kind of interest in student’s problems are not good teachers. These teachers are money minded. From these teachers the students are not able get cooperation in school and can’t understand the topic. As a result this students can’t get better results in examination.

There are some other teachers who believe that students have to cooperate with the teacher. If they find a student not cooperating with the teacher or not maintaining discipline in the class, these teachers give physical or even mental punishment to students. All these teachers can’t be said bad teachers as many of these teachers have the ability to teach students in a right way.

There is another issue named ‘Homework’ given by teachers. Some cases appear when a student attends external educational institutions and they don’t have enough time to complete their school homework. As a result after giving such excuses to teachers, students get punishment from teachers as they could't complete their work. Even the most intelligent student of the class suffers punishment as he is unable to complete his work. These teachers don’t care about student’s performance; they only care about that homework should be done by  the student.

Whether a teacher is a good teacher or a bad teacher we should concentrate in our studies and should get better results. 

हमारे फूटबाल के अलग और अजीब नियम

                       

आज हम बहुत सारे खेल खेलते हैं जैसे फुटबॉल और क्रिकेट| यह खेल दुनिया भर में मशहूर है| यह खेल हम ज्यादातर खेलते हैं| इन खेलों को खेलने के अपने-अपने नियम और तरीके होते हैं| लेकिन जो खेल हम खेलते हैं उस खेल के नियम और तरीके बिलकुल अलग और अजीब होते हैं|

फुटबॉल:- आम फुटबॉल हमारी फुटबॉल खेल से बहुत भिन्न है| आम फुटबॉल मैच की एक समय सीमा होती है, वह समय सीमा समाप्त होते ही खेल ख़त्म और इस खेल मैं टीम अनगिनत गोल मार सकती है| लेकिन जो फुटबॉल हम खेलते हैं उसमे कोई समय सीमा नहीं होती लेकिन उसमे एक निश्चित संख्या के गोल्स होते हैं| इस तरहें से इस फुटबॉल के नियम आम फुटबॉल से एकदम उल्टे होते हैं| इस खेल की कुछ कंडीशंस भी होती हैं जैसे इसमें कितने भी खिलाडी हो सकते हैं| यह खेल शुरू होता है टीम बाँटने से| सबसे पहले खिलाड़ियों में से दो खिलाडी टीम बांटते हैं| अगर हर टीम की संक्या और खासियत दोनों मैं सामान होती है तभी खेल आगे बढाया जाता है अगर ऐसा नहीं होता है तो टीम दोबारा बांटी जाती है| ऐसे मामलों में बहुत झगड़े होते हैं| जब टीम बाँट जाती है तो एक टॉस लिया जाता है जिसमे जीतने वाला या तो सेंटर किक चुनेगा या फिर गोल पोस्ट| जगह के मुताबिक गोआल पोस्ट अलग-अलग होते हैं| अगर गोल के आस पास गाड़ियाँ होती हैं तो उस टीम के लिए एक फायदा होता है की उनके गोल पर गोल करना मुश्किल होता है| एक ज़रूरी बात जो हमारे फुटबॉल में है वो है की हमारे मैच में कोई रेफरी नहीं होता जो रेड कार्ड या येलो कार्ड दे सके इसलिये जब फ़ाउल होता है तो बहुत झगड़े होते हैं| खेल का मैदान पलक झपकते ही अदालत बन जाती है जिसका कोई न्यायाधीश नहीं होता और दोनों टीम के खिलाडी विटनेस बॉक्स में आकर एक दुसरे को गवाही देते हैं| जिसकी बात मैं ज्यादा दम होता है वह केस जीत जाता है| कई बार ऐसा भी होता सामने वाली टीम का कोई खिलाडी अपनी टीम का गुन्हा कुबूल करता है और मसला हल हो जाता है| या फिर एक टीम बहस में ना पढके ऐसे ही कोई बात नहीं कह देती है| एक और इस खेल की यह है की इस खेल में किसी भी टीम का कोई निश्चित गोल कीपर नहीं होता| अगर गोल कीपर अच्छा प्रदर्शन नहीं करता है तो टीम के लोग उसे हटा भी सकते हैं या फिर वह टीम से गुज़ारिश करके गोलकीपर के पद से हट सकता है| हमारा यह खेल छह गोल्स या कितना भी हो सकता है अगर कोई टीम सबसे पहले निश्चित गोल कर दे तो वह जीत जाती है| जीतने के बाद हरने वाली टीम का मजाक उड़ने के बजाये और कुछ नहीं होता| अगर आम खेल में भी ऐसे नियम लागु हो जाएँ जो खेल में गाली-गलोच और मारपीट आम बात हो जाएगी| हमारे फुटबॉल के अपने अलग और अजीब नियमों से यह खेल एक दम अलग हो जाता है|

The famous city of United States, Las Vegas is famous for its beauty, casinos, hotels and night clubs. Las Vegas is also famous for its duplicates of monuments from other countries like Eiffel Tower, the Arab Pyramid and the Venetian Tower. Las Vegas has attracted many tourists with its various attractions but in this city there are various people who take advantage of it.

In Las Vegas we will find various salesmen of VIP passes and tickets of various hotels, night clubs and casinos. These salesmen sell these passes and tickets at a high discount and give various schemes with it. These people usually targets the tourists make them fool. These people sell fake tickets and passes and make tourists fool. These people make this passes by using computers and many other technologies. By this business these people earn money.

There are many other things which make Las Vegas a Scam city. In casinos the gambling is not only a game of fate but there are many tricks of probability and counting is used. Sometimes they use other tricks which are illegal and are not allowed in casinos. Not only in casinos, in night clubs the VIP treatment given to those who give extra money with VIP passes. The gatekeeper of VIP stand allows those people who give extra money to them otherwise they stay in line and wait for their next turn. By this the gatekeeper earns one lakh dollar per month.

The most amazing thing is that the Taxi drivers also make fool of tourists, they take long distances of the short distances to earn more money. So these people use the city’s fantasy and make fool of people and earn money.

So tourists BEWARE.

                                                    Revolution History of the World

We read in history books that how many people struggle for their rights and struggle with unity. This is called Revolution, in early times people were ruled by a king so they didn’t have the important rights like Right to Freedom of Speech and Right to Religion. That time scientists were not free to express their views and experiments and if they did they were considered as blasphemy (against Religion) and were given death sentence. All these lead to Revolution.

Revolution for freedom of ideas:-

In 17^th century the people of church predicted that Earth is a centre of cosmos and the other planets including sun are revolving around it, Earth is fixed on its position. The Italian scientist Galileo Galilee observed with his telescope that Earth and the other planets are revolving around the Sun. He discovered a very big event and he had the evidence; he knew that it was risky about mobilizing the discovery to people even that he launched a book on the discovery. Galileo’s book inspired many people and scientist but not the church. Galileo was given life sentence by the church on the charge of blasphemy but Galileo had already alarmed the people and led to the revolution. Later Galileo’s discovery was accepted.

After 100 years of Revolution an English Scientist named Edward Jenner was once a patient small pox in his childhood, at that time small pox was a common disease. To heal the disease he suffered a great pain, he was suffering the terror of healing than the disease. When he became a doctor he observed that the people living in villages didn’t have the small pox. So he made an experiment on a patient of small pox he took some puss from the patient of cow pox and added to the patient of small pox after a week the patient’s disease was cured. Edward Jenner called this discovery vaccination. Today small pox is an extinct disease. Hence revolution has changed the world.

Revolution in countries:-

In 17^th century America was a British Colony, the British were raising tax on tea. America was in the terror of this taxation. An American politician Samuel Adams revolted against tea tax; he united the American workers and stormed at the ships of tea. The workers sank a trillion tone of tea and this led to American Revolution.

In late 17^th century the king of France Louise 16^th increased the tax on food grains which led to the French Revolution. After France was declared republic the king was ordered not to leave France but later he tried to escape but was unsuccessful. The king was sentenced to death.

The French’s business was on slavery. Many slaves from different countries were forced to work for free. The slaves didn’t like the system and revolted against it after 50 years France abolished slavery

The Rise of the Parsis:

The Parsis were very fond of the game but they were not allowed to play, so the Parsis decided to make their own cricket club. On the late 19^th century the Parsis made their cricket club named Parsi Gymkhana. They were the first Indian team to tour to England.

The Pentangular:-

Like the Parsis, Hindus and Muslims made their own Cricket club named Hindu Gymkhana and Muslim Gymkhana. All these four teams (including Bombay Gymkhana) played matches against each other. This system was called as Quadrangular and then other team of Christians raised named The Rest. The system was then called The Pentangular.

Gandhi’s objection on Pentangular:-

Mahatma Gandhi didn’t like the system of Pentangular as it was following the system of ‘Divide and Rule’ by the British. Mahatma Gandhi rejected the Pentangular and started the ‘Ranji Trophy’.

Television and media for cricket:-

Today we can watch cricket played in other countries at our home, we can enjoy cricket without any problems. This technology of cricket was formed by a business man named Kerry Packer. His technology made cricketers celebrities and inspired many youths.

Other secrets:-

The most amazing feature which makes cricket unique is the equipment used in cricket. The equipment of cricket is made by natural things like bat, stumps and bails are made of wood and ball is made of leather. The other equipment used in cricket was made illegal but the Australian Cricketer named Dennis Lille once used an Aluminium bat for an over.

On the late 19^th century the first six-seam ball was introduced. The most famous balling style named the ‘Doosra’ and ‘Reverse Swing’.

Everything in this world has a history; our game cricket’s history has made it a famous game. The revision of Rules, The spread of Cricket and The ideas of Kerry Packer has made Cricket a famous game.

Today, Cricket is the most famous game of the country everyone leaves everything and watches Cricket on television. This game has inspired many people but what makes Cricket so unique what makes Cricket so popular in the country.

The whole story starts from the 18^th century when the game of cricket was formed in England. That time this game was played as a stick and ball game. The bat was in the shape of an ice hockey stick and the ball was bowled underarm. The match was of 3 days and still ended in a draw. It is a unique game as it has no time limit the match was of 3 days and still ended in draw.

Finally in 1744 the first written law of cricket was made. In these rules there were two stumps, the length of game was three days and the field was specified to 22 yards. The game was played in public places of London. The first Cricket club was formed in Hambledon

Then in late 18^th century the rules of cricket were revised there were:-

1.       The first leg-before law was published

2.       Third stump became common and its length and the bails length was specified

3.       Running between wickets become legal

4.       The bat was changed to a straight

5.       The ball was thrown overarm

These rules changed the whole game of cricket.

Cricket on caste and religion:-

The most shocking fact of this game was that the cricket was played on the basis of caste and religion. In England there were two teams. One team who was rich and played the game for pleasure not for earning money was called amateurs (gentleman). That team who played it for earning money was called professionals. Only white people could play the game no black people were allowed to play the game.

Spread of Cricket:-

At that time Cricket was a colonial game so I could spread to the British colonies like West Indies and India. The other countries didn’t accept the game as it was a British colonial game and those countries were not the colonies of British.

Spread of cricket in India:-

When India was a colony of British, the British spread its games to India. The people of India were not allowed to play the game. The Cricket clubs in India were called Gymkhanas. The first club of India lead by the British was the Bombay Gymkhana.

My father taught me these techniques. By these techniques I’ve improved my English writing very well. I’ve got good marks in writing article, letter and data interpretation in school. Let us start with the first Section ‘Techniques before Writing’ with the first chapter ‘Brain Storming’.

Chapter 1:- Brain Storming

 Brain Storming is the first thing we use before writing an article. This method is used in finding hints related to the topic given to you of your own, such as you have to write an article on given topic ‘Bribe’. So you should first use the method of Brain Storming.

Related hints on Bribe are:-

                                   By using these words let us write a paragraph on it. 

      As you know that there are many poor people in our country who want money to survive. Some greedy and rich people take advantage of it. By this there are a few number of honest people are left. When someone wants to kill, rob or do many illegal things they give money to another person who needs money then he do what the corrupt man says. It has raised killing kidnapping and destruction. By this people lost their lives. Become bankrupt and become poor. Corruption has caused the rich became richer and poor became poorer. 

When we use the method of Brain Storming we use our mind to find ideas and hints related to the given topic and write it on a paper. By this we can put the ideas we’ve found during writing the article. By Brain Storming you can structure an article and can get full marks in article competition. You can also use Brain storming in writing essay and letters.

THE TITANIC

                                                        

                              The Titanic an unforgettable incident

The Titanic was a passenger liner which was built from 1909-1911. It was a luxury ship which had taken more then 2000 passengers from Queenstown including some famous persons such as John Jacob Astor IV, Benjamin Guggenheim etc. It was called ‘the unsinkable’ by the engineers of this ship. On 11^Th April 1912, on its maiden voyage it left the Queenstown to New York in Atlantic. After 4 days of its voyage, at 11:40 p.m. when it was crossing the Atlantic a massive ice berg which was 3 times more than the weight of the Titanic struck to the ship. After 2 and a half hours the Titanic sank in ocean in which more than a 1000 passengers died, only 700 passengers survived. So why the ‘unsinkable’ sank?

During the construction of Titanic, a machine was introduced which could make strong nails for the Titanic but there were many difficulties of its transportation so people made the ship’s nails by their own. The metal used in the making of nails was rod ion which was not stronger than steel but the nails were made easily. These nails can tolerate less than 9000 pounds of pressure but the pressure of ice burg was about 14000 pounds which was more than the toleration limit of the nails used in Titanic. So that’s why Titanic sank but there is a mystery that why the crewmen of the ship couldn't saw the ice berg coming towards them?

 This is because in Atlantics the nights are very cold and it is very difficult to see anything during night as our eyes become cold. The crewmen of Titanic found many difficulties to see the ice berg coming towards them when they saw the ice berg they tried to move the ship but the ship and the ice berg rub against each other and the nails of the Titanic wore off making a big crack in which sank the ship. The reason of that it was called the ‘unsinkable’ that sixteen compartments were water tight as a result that the ship could float on the ocean but the crack was too long that more than twenty compartments were damaged which was capable to sink the ship

.

The wreck of Titanic is 3 kilometers under the Atlantic Ocean in two pieces; the front part is at north and the other at south. The Titanic researchers believe that many of the passengers didn’t drown they were freeze to death as the Atlantic Ocean was very cold. The Titanic incident was the biggest destruction which people can’t forget it. We will hope that this kind of incident never happen again.
